Let them eat Pie!

It has been a busy social week, so I’m sorry for the late updates to the posts and how completely not entertaining they are.

For a class last semester I wrote a story about the H Street N.E. corridor in the District. I’ve since come to really like this part of town because it has such an interesting story and character. It’s trying to grow and become a hot spot, but for now it is kind of difficult to get to.

We went to Sticky Rice for dinner. It was insanely busy, and I wouldn’t recommend not going without a reservation. The place was packed. Did I mention, they sell tater tots by the bucket?

Then we went to the BierGarten Haus because my husband loves beer, and here they sell it by the liter and half-liter.

Our third stop was the Rock n’ Roll Hotel, a music venue that has a dance party on the second floor.

And finally we ended the night at Dangerously Delicious, a pie place that has, well, delicious pies. I’ve heard they just opened a food truck in the city and I would highly recommend it.

In conclusion, because you’ve made it this far into my post, H Street is a fun place to go. I hope it does become the next Georgetown as my source told me.

(Great H St. community blog to check out. Frozen Tropics.)
